Thursday and Friday last week proved to be very good opportunities for wsb's. Thursday we had 8 for 20 anglers,a nd Friday we had 11 for 14 anglers, plus one 30# yt. set up's that worked best were reverse dropper loops and sliding sinkers and 5/0 hooks. 30-40# test line. we hope next week is just as bountiful and even better! Tougher Seabass fishing over the Memorial Day weekend, but fish biting again this Tues morning. Most fish caught inthe dark, but as the month progresses look for fish being caught during the afternoon hours.

Our Big Hammer 2 day trip was a great success! We saw some great fishing at San Clemente Island on Calico Bass and some of the best Sheephead action I've seen in years!!! Get aboard Memorial Day Weekend out to San Clemente Island and get in on the fun!!!

Conditions at San Clemente island continue to improve. Water on the front was 64 degrees and we did hook and lose 2 yellows! Next time we'll get um!!! Excellent shallow water rockfish action continues, and we will target White Sea Bass at Catalina Island next week if we get out on a weekday. Otherwise, unless it is very good WSB fishing, boat will continue to fish Clemente and try to capture more surface fish as the water warms. Call Davey's Locker and get aboard this Fri, Sat and Sun for only $99!!! Be first to be on the bite as it emerges soon! Tight Lines and Sharp Hooks!!!

Hi Everyone, We had a great first weekend out of Davey's Locker in Newport Beach, Ca. Call Davey's Locker to get aboard with us this spring! We are running $99 one day trips Thursday-Sunday, we will be in hunt of Yellowtail and White Sea Bass, Halibut, Rockfish and Calico Bass.

Hello all- I broke my hand again, so doing these has not been easy- hopefully I can make up for it! Today, 8/23/09 we were out on a GP Resorts 1.5 day charter- conditions were beautiful and fishing was spectacular for the Eclipse today! We are fishing on a body of albacore that is moving east/northeast at about 10 miles a day right now. We had our best stop for albacore (45) and skipjack (40), bluefin and yellowfin at 0800 that we drifted on for more than 3 hours- we then rolled into a stop around 1330 hrs for some more albacore to top off on our limits plus 7 bluefin in the 40-60# class!!! All in all we had limits of albacore, 15 big dorado, 12 bft 35-65#, 7 yft to 50# , 60 skipjack and 1 25# yellowtail!!! A great group to fish with and limits of great weather. Come fishing!!! Call Seaforth or book via this website!!! Tight Lines and Sharp Hooks!!! Mark
